I sewed a top with fabric I block printed (and other news)

Dear Reader,

I have to tell you about something I'm a little obsessed with right now.

I block printed my own fabric and turned it into a top I actually want to wear. I didn't expect to pick up garment sewing again (it's been over 20 years!), but here we are — apparently, one creative obsession can just casually open the door to another. More on that soon.

In the meantime, my latest YouTube video is up — if you've ever been curious about block printing but felt overwhelmed by all the tools out there, this one's for you. I narrowed it down to the only 4 you actually need to get started.

A couple of other small updates:

I've closed Tiny Treasures, my monthly print subscription. Maybe someday I'll reopen it, but for now I need to ease up on the demands I've put on my time (live and learn). It taught me a lot, and I'm so grateful for everyone who was part of it.

And academic calendars are available if a calendar that starts in summer is your kind of thing.
